Metalman Pale Ale now pouring…

Yesterday was quite a busy day. In addition to brewing our second batch of Metalman Pale ale,  @metalman_tim and I (with Cuilan’s help!) filtered, carbonated and kegged up the first batch that we brewed a few weeks ago. There was quite a bit of tasting going on as well – quality control, and all that! – but the three of us were flat out all day from 6am until 5pm, at which point the kegs (and 2 casks) were loaded into vans pending delivery to Waterford and Dublin.

The results of this flurry of activity are now out in the wild for testing, and we are waiting for feedback with bated breath. Beer was delivered today to Revolution in Waterford,  the Bull and Castle in Christchurch, and L. Mulligan Grocer in Stoneybatter, where they have surpassed themselves with efficiency and are already serving it. The lack of tap-clip is only a minor deterrent to this bunch of over-achievers, it seems! Fear not, I have said clips in my possession now, and will be delivering them to Mulligans on the morrow. I only hope I can say the same for the beermats, which seem to be missing in action somewhere since they were despatched from the manufacturer last Tuesday.

And so onward to the launches at the Bull & Castle on Thursday March 3rd, and Revolution on Tuesday March 8th – join us for a drink, and tell us what you think!
